Make sure you’ve got your tickets (they are only $15!!!) to what potentially could become DragonCon 2.0.  The Atlanta Comics Expo opens up on April 21st for its first year.  Brought to you by the same people who bring us DragonCon, ACE is a Comics inspired convention that promises to get back to convention roots while still maintaining the fun. ACE takes place at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Atlanta, the same hotel as DragonCon.

AngryDogArmor was honored to have our own Brandi Messee asked to be the Director for the Costuming Track this year. So come out (did I mention it is only $15 for the WHOLE WEEKEND?!?!) and have some fun.

MomoCon: DefCon 1

 | March 28, 2007 11:00 am

We had a wonderful time at MomoCon again this year.  Thank you for asking us back!  Unfortunately for all the Sunday attendees, someone thought it would be funny to leave live fireworks stashed in the open all through out the con site.  Several people found the fireworks and proceeded to set them off outside the building.  This lead to the immediate shutdown of the con by campus security.

We were right in the middle of the Prop Forge panel when things were shutdown which was a shame, but we did get to share the panel with Bill Winans from Outlandarmor.  Great guy and a wealth of knowledge about prop making and metal working.  Visit their site to see some of their amazing work.

Momocon will be held again this year at the Georgia Tech Student Center on March 17th and 18th. This is a great starter con in the Atlanta area. We are very pleased to have been asked back again this year to present on prop making. Look for the prop panel on Sunday!

We are off to Megacon. We missed the past two years, so this is like a homecoming to us. It was a very last minute thing. Look for us to be in our Bleach, Naruto and 1960’s Batman costumes (Catwoman and a goon).

Yeah, we are moving….

Hehe, special thanks to Jason Hampton! We are in the process of moving and doing updates. We’ll be down for a couple of days while we set things up. Our really good friend Jason Hampton is going out of his way to help us out. Thanks Jason!

For the moment, ignore the links at the top of the page. We are going to be building off this template and making major changes.
